First away tennis match

Wish me luck. I won my first match 6-4, and today we are loading up and going to one of the other schools in the district to (hopefully) kick their butts like we did the other match. We beat them 7-10, or something like that. Anyway, today I get to use chemicals in biology. It's even better when your biology teacher tells you to "be careful". I love dangerous chemicals.

First post in October

Yep, fall is definitely in the air! The other day at Tennis practice (first match October 4th), I could clearly see my breath, and my arm almost began to go numb. I declare it to have been officially cold. Well, for Texas, anyway.

I got my baby back!

My "baby" (laptop) is now back in my hands once again! This will allow me to make more posts than often.

I lost, oh well.

You know what, while I think that the election was just a big popularity contest, I am going to give my opponent the benefit of the doubt. Congratulations, Naomi. I've said it before, and I'm going to say it again: for the moment, I'm alive and healthy. It's all good. ;-)

Election TODAY!!!

I'm sitting in the school library, wondering how many of my opponents failed to have their speeches approved by the deadline. Wouldn't it be hilarious if I was the only one on the ballot? I'm holding back giggles just thinking about it. Eh, I suppose it's just as well that I win fairly. Winning by default is for losers, and being a losing winner is just being a nothing.

Election's Getting Close!

Oh, goodness, the election is tomorrow! Where have all the days gone? Good thing I'm responsible enough to have everything ready, because I had to have my speech approved on Friday! If I didn't, I wouldn't be on the ballot for tomorrow! Best of luck to all of my opponents; I hope the paths that the Good Lord has chosen for all of us lead to good choices and prosperous lives. For the moment, I'm alive and healthy. It's all good.
